Instrumental Music update

Please note the following changes to instrumental music in 2021, designed to simplify the process for both new and current instrumental students:

NEW STUDENTS
Students wishing to learn a new musical instrument should fill out the “APPLY NOW” google form at https://www.northside.qld.edu.au/co-curricular/performing-arts . This form is for brand new enquiries for private lessons for the first time on a new instrument.

CURRENT STUDENTS
All current Instrumental Music students need not fill out any forms from now on, as they will now be assumed to be continuing lessons into 2021 (unless they have opted out by contacting your music tutor or chris.george@northside.qld.edu.au) We are no longer requiring all private instrumental students’ families to fill out the “Apply Now” google form again each year.

All private instrumental students will now have the usual once-yearly instrumental music administration fee added to their school fees early in 2021. This $30 administration fee covers the upkeep of Northside’s private music teaching studios, and maintains equipment such as pianos, music stands and miscellaneous extras. This fee will be automatically added to all students whose names appear on private music teachers’ timetables as we begin teaching in Term 1, 2021.
