College Administration Assistant (Full Time)

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and motivated Administration Assistant to join Northside Christian College - a Prep to Year 12 College located in the Everton Park in Brisbane's inner north. The successful applicant will join an outstanding Christian College committed to inspiring and developing students' spiritual, academic, emotional and social potential.

This is a broad-ranging and varied role, working across several key areas within the College's administration team. This position provides administrative support for the Deputy Principal, Head of Student Life, other Senior Leadership staff and the administration team.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proficiency in all areas of general office administration
  • Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to exercise a high degree of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality
  • Relevant reception based experience coupled with excellent people skills
  • A friendly, open nature, enjoying interaction with children of all ages
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to demonstrate a Christian World View

Position Description

Secondary Technologies & Design Teacher (Fixed Term 2022)

Northside Christian College, located in the inner northern Brisbane suburb of Everton Park, is seeking expressions of interest for a Secondary School Technologies & Design Teacher to join the College for terms 3 and 4, 2022. 

To be successful, you will have:

  • QCT Registration (or eligibility)
  • Demonstrated Teaching experience in Secondary Technologies & Design subjects
  • Knowledge of contemporary teaching practices and assessment strategies suitable for secondary schooling
  • Familiarity with the QCAA syllabuses
  • Experience in curriculum development which meets the requirements of the Australian National Curriculum
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to work proactively within a collaborative teaching team
  • Willing and able to actively lead co-curricular activities
  • Able to exhibit Northside Christian College's genuine Christian commitment and care for students
  • Current First Aid qualification (desirable)
